We are doing this, along with other fundraising, to raise funds to help with an annual picnic that we as staff from the NICU, along with volunteers put on once a year, free of charge to former Neonatal patients here at McMaster Hospital. It gives staff a chance to see how far their former tiny patients have come, and for the families to reconnect with staff that they one saw daily as they came to visit their tiny babies here in our care.

We provide this picnic once every year, and provide former patients and their families with lunch, beverages, and a day filled with fun activities all free of charge due to the fundraising we’re able to do throughout the year.
